Due Process
- Due process means that all members have the right to a full and fair hearing before an impartial tribunal of their piers with a full and complete knowledge of the charges made and with adequate opportunity to prepare a defense.
- Due process includes:
- The right to call witnesses
- The right to present evidence and testimony
- The right to cross-examine the other side
- The right to have legal counsel
Function of the local Board of Association in Professional Standards
It is the function of the board association to hold various hearings:
- Ethics Hearings
- Mediations
- Arbitration Hearings
